  • Stock: 1 of 1 (Single Inventory / Investment Grade)
  • Variety: North China General's Shoulders (Hua Bei Jiang Jun Bang Lineage)
  • Dimensions: 41.0mm (Width/Edge) x 38.0mm (Depth/Belly)

[The Story of the Jiang Jun Bang Lineage]

The Hua Bei Jiang Jun Bang lineage is an elite heritage variety deeply celebrated for its commanding, muscular posture and incredible tactile resonance. It earns its legendary name from its distinctive high, squared-off "shoulders" (Jiang Jun Bang), which naturally mirror the broad, armored shoulders of an imperial dynasty general.

Flanked by thick, expansive side edges and a robust flat base, the exterior shell is sculpted with an intricate, deep matrix of open vertical valleys and craggy network ripples. Sourced from classic northern wild orchards, it is prized by advanced collectors for its exceptional wood-bone density, ensuring a heavy hand-weight and a stunning transformation into a translucent ruby-red patina over a dedicated handling journey.

[Product Characteristics of HBJJB-1105]

  • The Stately 41mm Broad-Shouldered Posture: Measuring 41.0mm across the primary wide borders paired with a full 38.0mm depth across the bellies. This proportional low-slung layout yields an exceptionally grounded, stout profile. The broad 41mm footprint stretches cleanly across the palm to provide superb physical leverage, while the rounded 38mm belly depth allows the walnuts to roll smoothly past one another without catching or jamming.
  • Deeply Cratered, Muscular Topography: True to its premium pedigree, the exterior shell showcases a masterfully balanced network of deep vertical channels, fluid wavy folds, and rugged bone recesses. This dramatic, high-relief texture completely avoids sharp or fragile nodes, providing excellent non-slip traction against the skin while delivering an invigorating, therapeutic hand massage.
  • Thick Prominent Borders & Flat Base Stance: Built with exceptional organic alignment, each piece features a wide, flat bottom layout with a clean, neatly centered navel that allows them to stand perfectly upright on flat surfaces. The vertical centerline seams run exceptionally straight from the top apex down to the base, ensuring great tracking stability during fast rotation.
  • Resonant Iron-Bone Acoustics: Sourced from fully matured wild groves, this pair carries significant physical weight relative to its footprint due to extra-thick internal chamber walls. When spun or rotated past one another, the mature bone-dense material produces a sharp, high-pitched metallic ring rather than a muffled wooden clack.

[Maintenance & Aging Advice]

Because the "Hua Bei Jiang Jun Bang" lineage features a highly responsive, bone-dense shell structure with an intricate network of deep flowing valleys and dramatic cavities, it is highly recommended to keep this pair in a sealed bag when resting between handling sessions for the first month. This practice safely traps natural skin oils to guide a uniform, blotch-free oxidation process across both the muscular prominent peaks and deep basal recesses. Handling them directly with bare hands—completely skipping the use of gloves—is the definitive method to naturally develop a deep, uniform translucent patina over time.

You are easy to work with and are great communication.

Incredible service, I ordered a pair that sadly could not be shipped on account of a website error. Normally that would be a red flag; in this case however, an agent reached out to me immediately, allowed me to pick out an even higher quality pair and included some very thoughtful gifts. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and what started out as a mistake will have me returning here first whenever I want to expand my collection.

Class acts!

I ordered my Wenwans about 13 days ago. After contacting this company about a shipping issue they were able to solve it immediately as well as to rush the order. Literally just got mine today and they are absolutely gorgeous and very large! My Pair# is DGM-901. These are my very first high grades ones. Bought some crappy amazon ones for like 6 bucks to practice. I cannot wait to start my journey with these. I highly recommend this company for their outstanding customer service and quality control!

Thank you!

This company is Stellar. I’ve enjoyed the products I’ve Boughten for myself and gifts Ives given.

These guys a great. Walnuts are high quality, and what you see is what you get, no random pairs that you may not like.
I've got 5 pairs off of them so far, and none have any flaws: no yellowing, pin holes, worm marks or cracks.
I'm not an expert, but I can't detect any dyes or processing on the nuts I have received.
They get back to you quickly if you have questions or issues.

Shipping is a couple weeks to canada since its off shore orgin. No big deal.

I do wish they would post the weights of the pairs as well in the listings, but this is minor.

I consider Zenwalnut to be the best north american walnut vendor hands down.

Good

The box it came with is great and well made. The walnuts are out of this world. I don’t know how you find a three ridge mutation (Spartan motif) with such a good pairing. Even the basins complement each other, one elavated and the other depressed so they fit together. I highly recommend this seller if you want a reliable place where you can find rare, high quality walnuts. What you see in the pictures and videos is what you get. These are my second pair from zenwalnuts and I love both of them, thank you

The first pair I bought was a pair of minis, Packaging was amazing! Display case, and brushes were all under $100. I've been using them for just over a week. Excellent quality, I have dropped them once on accident of course over concrete while outside on the patio. I was quite concerned, I gave them a look over and no cracks, chips, or scratches were found. I am now looking into higher valued pairs. I will be buying other pairs for birthday gifts and collections. I posted them on FB and will continue to keep updates of the transformation every so often.
