[The Story: "Mo Pan" ] Named after the traditional stone mill, the "Mo Pan" (Millstone) variety is famous for its short, squat shape and flat base.

  • The "Tank" of Walnuts: They are known for being robust, heavy, and incredibly stable.
  • Meaning: In Chinese culture, the turning of the millstone symbolizes "turning things around" (running smoothly) and accumulating wealth.

[Why this pair (#MP-93) is a Collector's Choice?]

  • Classic Squat Profile: As seen in the side-view photos, this pair features the signature low height of the Millstone variety. They sit low in the hand, offering a very solid, grounded grip ("The Rock").
  • Half-Wall Ridges: This specific "Half-Wall" strain features thicker, more prominent edges than standard millstones. This means better friction and a deeper massage for your palms.
  • Broad Base: They have a wide, flat bottom, allowing them to stand up perfectly on your desk as a display piece when you aren't playing with them.

You are easy to work with and are great communication.

Incredible service, I ordered a pair that sadly could not be shipped on account of a website error. Normally that would be a red flag; in this case however, an agent reached out to me immediately, allowed me to pick out an even higher quality pair and included some very thoughtful gifts. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and what started out as a mistake will have me returning here first whenever I want to expand my collection.

Class acts!

I ordered my Wenwans about 13 days ago. After contacting this company about a shipping issue they were able to solve it immediately as well as to rush the order. Literally just got mine today and they are absolutely gorgeous and very large! My Pair# is DGM-901. These are my very first high grades ones. Bought some crappy amazon ones for like 6 bucks to practice. I cannot wait to start my journey with these. I highly recommend this company for their outstanding customer service and quality control!

Thank you!

This company is Stellar. I’ve enjoyed the products I’ve Boughten for myself and gifts Ives given.

These guys a great. Walnuts are high quality, and what you see is what you get, no random pairs that you may not like.
I've got 5 pairs off of them so far, and none have any flaws: no yellowing, pin holes, worm marks or cracks.
I'm not an expert, but I can't detect any dyes or processing on the nuts I have received.
They get back to you quickly if you have questions or issues.

Shipping is a couple weeks to canada since its off shore orgin. No big deal.

I do wish they would post the weights of the pairs as well in the listings, but this is minor.

I consider Zenwalnut to be the best north american walnut vendor hands down.

Good

The box it came with is great and well made. The walnuts are out of this world. I don’t know how you find a three ridge mutation (Spartan motif) with such a good pairing. Even the basins complement each other, one elavated and the other depressed so they fit together. I highly recommend this seller if you want a reliable place where you can find rare, high quality walnuts. What you see in the pictures and videos is what you get. These are my second pair from zenwalnuts and I love both of them, thank you

The first pair I bought was a pair of minis, Packaging was amazing! Display case, and brushes were all under $100. I've been using them for just over a week. Excellent quality, I have dropped them once on accident of course over concrete while outside on the patio. I was quite concerned, I gave them a look over and no cracks, chips, or scratches were found. I am now looking into higher valued pairs. I will be buying other pairs for birthday gifts and collections. I posted them on FB and will continue to keep updates of the transformation every so often.
