Round-Bodied Deep-Textured Porcelain Doll Wenwan Walnut Pair — 38.0mm x 38.0mm | CWW-17C1C

Product Description

This single-inventory listing features the exact pair of Wenwan walnuts shown in the product gallery. Carrying the stock ID CWW-17C1C, this pair belongs to the distinctive Porcelain Doll form, known for its compact proportions, rounded body, and concentrated central texture.

Measuring 38.0mm x 38.0mm, both walnuts present an unusually balanced near-spherical profile. Their equal width and height give the pair a compact, full-bodied appearance, while the broad shoulders and softly rounded base create a stable and visually harmonious silhouette.

The central faces display deep, closely arranged ridges and recessed valleys, framed by smoother outer shoulders. This contrast gives the pair strong depth without making the overall form appear overly aggressive.

The pair has been pre-cleaned and base-brushed for international shipping.

The Story of the Form

The Porcelain Doll form is particularly recognizable for its compact and rounded proportions.

Rather than relying on an exaggerated tip or unusually wide wings, its character comes from the relationship between a full, rounded body and a concentrated central texture field. The outer shoulders remain comparatively smooth and curved, visually framing the more complex ridges running through the center.

On this pair, the 38.0mm x 38.0mm proportions make that character especially clear. Both pieces appear nearly round from the front, giving them a dense, balanced and highly coordinated presence in the hand.

Product Characteristics

• 38 × 38 balanced dimensions: Equal width and height create a compact, near-spherical appearance.
• Rounded full body: Broad shoulders and a substantial overall silhouette.
• Strong central texture: Deep ridges and recessed valleys provide visual depth.
• Clean outer framing: Smoother shoulders emphasize the textured center.
• Coordinated pairing: The two walnuts are closely matched in overall scale and morphology.
• Comfortable medium size: Suitable for collectors who prefer a substantial feel without moving into oversized walnuts.
• Natural individuality: Minor differences in ridge structure remain visible, preserving the character of each walnut.
• Classic collectible profile: A balanced form that works well as both a handling pair and a display pair.
